Racquel is a full-time working mom to two fierce little girls. She, her husband, the kiddos, and shiba inu reside in New Jersey.
All of Racquel’s professional work experience has been in clinical technology, with her last 10+ years employed at a biopharmaceutical company. In her current role, she works with Interactive Response Technology (IRT) service providers to design and deploy customized, validated systems to support clinical trials. Though she has experience in supporting all clinical trial phases across different therapeutic areas, Racquel’s current focus is on immunotherapy and early development compounds to tackle different cancers.
She enjoys the problem solving aspect of the role: specifically, how to design systems efficiently to address unique challenges in oncology. She is hopeful to be part of a team that finds a cancer cure.
Racquel is a forever a student; obtaining degrees and certificates to support her pharmaceutical career. Her latest venture, however, is one that serves her personal interest: coding. She looks forward to the challenge set forth by Moms Can & Co to be fundamentally ready as a Junior Web Developer.
In her spare time, her projects include renovating her family’s 100+ year old home as well as supporting local community organizations. She also enjoys playing the piano and a solid workout.
The following are my live projects that I completed with my fellow Cohort 4 classmates at Moms Can & Co.
